Parking sensors gone erratic

Hey guys, the rear parking sensors have suddenly, well not suddently, after a car wash, gone erratic. its only the rear ones, front are ok.

it works if im reversing into something it will let me know but when im driving along again forwards, when theres nothing behind me, it will start beeping randomly for like 5 seconds. it does switch off after 5 seconds. but 2 questions, how can this be fixed and it is easy? if its not easy, how do i totally switch the sensors off?

BMW 5 series. Aint they same on all cars though?

Have checked but cant see any excess water around it or anything or even any dirt.

Nah the'll all be diffrent mate dependent on what car you have
