Panasonic DMR-E20 Multi-Region DVD recorder

Right it looks like iam buying myself a Panasonic DMR-E20 Multi-Region DVD recorder home system.

Does anyone know anythink about this recorder like will it copy from a dvd player as it has Recording format: DVD-RAM and DVD-R plus it Plays back a variety of discs
Includes DVD-RAM, DVD-R discs, DVD Video, music CD, CD-R, and CD-RW
If you know anyone with one, or if you have one yourself let me know

just ordered gazer the sony davs400 home theatre system ,

plays all formats ,

but only just noticed it doesnt say owt about multi region,but not so bothered about that part as the one i,ve got in living room an rec 900 , does the lot,

any tips etc would be appreciated, can this system be opened up to play multi region , with a hack, etc,

ps went an spent all the money on this david h ,

it was either that or the satellite system you said,
