pace 1000t

hi just got an old pace 1000t telepest stb
setting net id using fun card method push card in ,and screen goes black then screen comes up usual dont switch off box updating . but the problem is its stuck there. do i leave it all night or power off as tb hasnot been cut yet any advise would help,or shall i chuck it in the skip. thanx

sorry to any one but got it to update fun card way,it was the order in writing the card for the net id but working now all i need to do now is find out how to cut tb

cheers cut tb but no flashing light .does this mean i havent done it right
should there be a green flashhing light next to the channnel no. on a pace 1000t

if you have done it make sure track is cut properly
top light should be on middle one flashing
to check if tb is cut press interactive and you should get error message
