CD & DVD over burn

Having probs with Nero 5.578 in that I can't overburn. Doing the normal preferences then expert set to over burn ,set time etc. Using a Memorex 16 max writer, all I get is disk is too small for file. M8 is using same writer but can't get in touch with him at the mo. Need help asap please.<br />Regards,<br />petep <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Possible your writer not able to 'overburn'

Are you trying to overburn an 650MB or 700MB CD, if trying the 650 (74min) then file might just be too much and need an 80 min CD.

What is file size (remember there is always a header to be added)

Overburn is not really a recognised function and as such it may or may not work produce desired results. You could try different software such as Disk Juggler.
