just got mine this morning quick freephone call to register and ive got £1 free credit and 30free photo messages and for the first months theres no minimum topup to receive the 3000 evening and weekend texts so next month itll need £15 topup but this month im sorted.

I'm puzzled - there doesn't appear to be a phone number on the SIM, do you get it when you register? And can you have choices of several numbers or is it the first one they assign to you?

orange will assign you a number unless you already have an orange number then you can transfer that.
