Anyone heard off or have experience of a OpenMedia box, it has 2 x tuners, one for cable and one for sat, and cable side is a 500c tuner ?

just been having a read up on em..

look like a nice peice of kit... but the fact is openly admitted its "cheaply made" is a bit of an off putt..

that and i dont have a sat at the mo so i woulnt bother with it for now myself, may conside it when i get a sat setup

in order to change over from sat to cable i believe you have to unplug the reciever then change over by a switch at the back and power back on,pain in the arse

Spoke to someone on another forum and they said works good and just flick switch at back to change over.

It would be better it you couls switch between cable and sat without restarting the box.

Using one of these myself,works as good as any of the clone DM500c's + the added bonus of a sat tuner,
Strong tuner in them and pretty well made,have had it now about 6 months and no problems yet,touch wood roud:
