open box s16

hi just bought an openbox s16 off fleabay(are they all basicly the same) but no instruction book came with it,looked on forum for openbox but no mention of this model.when reading how to put cline in,i cannot find the area that i need,do i need to install another image to do this,if so what is best image to use, and where can i get it ,it works perfect as freeview but would like to do more

Can you see network section in menu mate?

menue then gears icon i can see network local settings this shows ip addy
go to suitcase icon
upgrade by network
protocol-http
url type number
url shows a number ends in 038
user annonymous
password xxxxx
start
connection to server failed

Try
menu
Network
then press 6666 or 8888

not sure which menu setting you meant but tried both typed both 6666 and 8888 but nothing happened could something be missig as there are only the two areas mentioned for network one for ip addy other gives a page to upgrade

Better off googling it mate.
Been a lot of compalints about this receiver.
Try get latest fw and load it on.

getting someware now,just googled for latest firmware,put it on and now i have an extra icon like a little globe
in here i find
server index 1.....8
server active..........on
url .............. 127.0.0.1
port .............10000
user .......user
password ....... xxxxxxxx
is this where i put my clines
