No signal

Anyone any idea on this . It's not saying scrambled it's saying no signal just bought new gift .bought box for my dad now can't get it to work .

go to box settings and re check tuner config,in service searching take a look at signal strength in signal finder...check connections are good..

What image is it, it could be ABM set for another area

Is it satellite

That's poor mate...36 percent

36% is quite poor is there a lot of the inner copper showing beyond the connector on the cable, I find that some tuners need that extra 5-6mm to get a full signal

You could rewire the cable to show more of the inner copper and try that

mate your getting no channels as 36% is half of what you need on these boxes for a decent picture..check everything connection wise,check your sat selection is correct in the tuner settings ie its 28.2E and not 19.2E or something..

Most replies on here are as if this box is linux and it is not.
Your lnb settings maybe wrong they should be 9.750-10.600 Universal
Make sure if its a multisat list its on 28.2e
Make sure list is upto date.
If skybox works ok then signal is good.

What stb did you buy V8s?

No mate .its doing my head in . Did a satalite scan everyone comes up failed

did you check lnb settings?
What list did you load?
What stb is it?

The list was on it mate . Bought it from a friend then just bought the gift from eBay .famous last words said to my dad I'll have it working for you in 10 mins lol
