Blade seems not to be supported that much any one got any info on the sky open box ? Would it be better than the blade

skybox f's ok for sky sd why not go for dm 800se v2 with cable tuner or sat tuner if not in cable area

It's going to all depend on what exactly you want the box for..
There are the usual culprits like Vu+ or gigablue that have plug and play tuners..I really like technomate nano OE for a sat box only as it runs pretty fast and does everything pretty well...
Do you want sat or cable,are you wanting to go down the IPTV route?.

I just want to watch sky without it freezing really had my cable internet upgraded to 100 meg and still not impressed with blade ? Don't want loads of channels just Sky ! I've had techno mate before but something simple

get a dm500s and stick commando on it...

just go with skybox f3 or f5 i have f3 in the sons room add no problems with it
