Newsgroups

is there another way of accessing newsgroups without using Outlook express. it doesnt let me setup an account as it requires an Internet news (NNTP) server your Internet service provider has given you but my provider hasnt given me one. thanks for any help.

What about Google Groups. You can access all the newsgroups through that.

Opera will cope with newsgroups too, I beleive.....never used them though.

What about Google Groups. You can access all the newsgroups through that.

I did register with Google Groups but its very unreliable it often comes up with errors messages such as page cannot be displayed.

Im a complete newbie to newsgroups but have done a little reading.I downloaded a program called NewsLeecher but when i download a file all i get is 0 byte Read me files??
Ive given up for now but if anyone can shed any light on this it would be appreciated
