I dont think the full version of Kodi exists for Enigma 2 , there are Kodi plugins apaprently I have not personally messed with them on a E2 box. Wetek have recievers that alllow yout to boot into either Kodi or E2.
Alternatively you could always get a dedicated device to run kodi on, I have an Amazon fire stick I purchased during Black Friday for 25 quid, side loaded Kodi onto it and it runs well.
However your better off with something like a Raspberry Pi 2 with openelec or OSMC which boot directly into Kodi. My RPi2 is much faster than the firestick. But you do need to buy the extra kit with a Raspberry...i.e: case, power supply (or sue a good 2A Micro USB phone charger), bluetooth remote cntrol (if you dont want to use the kodi remote app off a smart phone).
The Amazon firestick comes with a remote already but the limitation is WiFi only...you cant use wired ethernet. You can opt for the Amazon fire TV box as well this supports 4K and wired ethernet but for the money your better off with a RPI2 if you dont need 4K (the only other advnatages of Amazon stuff they are netflix certified so you can get 4k and HD netflix using the legit apps).
Your other options are a an android box M8S, MXQ etc etc...theres loads of variants, these generally advertise impressive specs but the firmware support is non existant and android inherently has some issues which mean it's not an ideal platform for media centre usage such as not being to automatically swap refresh rates etc (probably good enough for just streaming from unofficial sources though). For an android box with better support your choices are Wetek or Minix.
You will find plugins for Kodi showing most premsiership 3pm kickoffs (sportsdevil etc) but they are generally mostly SD quality streams, and it takes time sometimes finding a reliable stream. There are plenty of free movie and TV apps like Genesis, SALTS, Phoenix.....etc Yup..there is ridiculous amounts of adult cotnent too
Theres also the option of subscription based services which provide you IPTV content i.e: all the domestic and foreign channels...pay services will probably be more reliable if you want HD sports streams...
