New To Wii?

Hi Guys

Im mainly on here for cable but I want to chip my daughters Wii. Ive been reading on here about several chips etc. I just want the easiest solutions to playing modded disks. Is the wii key the best and easiest chip to get. Do I also need to know my serial number before I order the chip. Ive read modchipfitters is a good source. Any help would be appreciated.

u will need to check the wii serial number to check what chip it will take

if its a new wii u will need a DC2 chip
