Based on neutrino.dream plus 2.02fix da vodka xmas
The image is an mtd3 (flash without bootloader)
user=root
password=dreambox
ip of image is 192.168.254.200
(just remembered - the timer is set to enter standby at 2.00am and reboot at 6.00am)
To Flash
========
If you have a maxvar image installed (eg gemini 3.30) or are not sure then
you will need to flash the dmm 1.08 or 1.09 image with dreamup first (via serial)
to clear the partitions.
Then ftp dreamplus.img to /tmp
telnet to the box and type
cd /tmp && /bin/eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp dreamplus.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot
You will see progress for the erase but NOT for the flash, please leave the box alone, do NOT pull the power, it will reboot in about 4 mins!!!
If you aren't using a maxvar image, skip the dreamup part.
MODS

Choose new or old tuner driver (now works on all boxes)
If using the new tuner driver there are 2 bugs I found
The bugs are in new head.ko (not the new zapit fix)
1. Aspect ratio keeps defaulting to widescreen but and not always
sending ws scart signaling.
2. Showing a picrure from tv mode will not show.
i.e MP3 mode is blank and background previews were blank.
The neutrino source will need to change to work around it properly.
My Work arounds
1. Not found one, saa command doesn't seem to work.
2. Added workaround to my menus so it displays background
previews in new tuner driver mode.
Added MP3 Mode menu on Extra Menu to open MP3 Mode with
background in new tuner driver mode.
Alternatively goto Radio Mode first then MP3 mode.
Extras Menu selected straight from Yellow button or via Blue buttton/Extras Menu
Optimised boot time (Boot to TV picture in 3secs)
Removed all none neaded stuff
Diasbled http and samba as default to save mem (enable through extras menu)
Changed file structure nearer to dbox2
Removed var_init to save space on root for future
Cydine or rudbox EPG (cydines for frontrow if anyone still has it)
Union Jack icon on main menu.
Changed red green blue yellow button icons back to previous image (prefer them)
Changed english.local (also now on var)
Modified Tuxcal and re-compiled to work on neutrino dream.
Notifactions of birthdays etc (when tuxcald is enabled - also needs httpd enabled)
You can choose backgrounds for mp3 radio and scan (or turn off)
You can choose sounds for scanning (or turn off)
Delete all channels you don't like (from a filelist - usefull after a scan - saves sectionsd memory)
Rename channels i.e SM9_ETV to Sky Movies 9 etc (from a filelist - usefull after a scan)
Option to create a ubouquets.xml with pre-setup bouquets (just the names not move all your channnels for you, lol)
The above 2 can be done automaticaly after avery scan
Modified Links Web Browser to run from Nas/Pc share
Created homepage example with links to some usefull websites (+1 for the missus)
Edit this in your pc/nas db share (db\tuxbox\config\links\home.html)
Backup restore everything you can think of localy or to your Nas/Pc share
Manualy enter keys/providers for unsupported autoupdate providers
Graphical shutdown progress
Defrag the var partition
(Nearly a working squashfs editor, not enough mem for squashfs-lzma app on dm500c)
err... and probably loads that I can't remember.
To use the image fully
======================
i.e. backup/restore, recording, links web browser, epg cache etc then
copy the db folder somewhere on your pc/nas
share the db folder as db (cifs share, not tested with nfs although I coded for it)
add a user called db with password db
give full writes to user db.
you can change the above settings if you want
all this is configured in neutrino mounts (last one - entry 7)
modify the last entry to suit (ie ip address0 and idealy set to mount at startup
although the backup stuff will mount it anyway.
