Network Card enquiry

i really know very little about networking so this might be a silly question.
I currently have a 10/100 network card and am on NTL cable at 750.
I have noticed advertised 10/100/1000 cards. If the speed increase from NTL goes to 2gb will my card need upgrading or is it ok?

your 10/100 card should be ample for the new speeds. Its 2mb not gb the speed m8....we wish lol

as you can see form the speeds.

10/100/1000 is 10Mb/100mb/1000/mb

and to correct red, it is the speed. but the bandwidth is not changing

Be careful when looking at the speeds, the download limit is normally stuck next to the speeds but is defined in gb's.
