Netid on Pace 4000

Anyone have suggestions for changing netid on a Pace 4000, please?
I have tried using the netid software but the box does not reboot on inserting the funcard.
I noticed that the box id (mac?) has only 12 digits instead of 16 - any ideas?

I made a circuit with a max232 chip to enable serial connection for libdebug but cannot communicate with the box.

Suggestions welcome. Cheers.

I'm sure you can do that in the engineers menu some how.
Got one to do myself if any one can refresh my memory.

I'll have a look through my old files and see if i can find out about it...

hi mate

i have done it with fun card. using netid setter 1.5. if the box dont reset with card inserted.
go and set freq and sr for ur network.
then just take the mains out and power up again it should work.

with ur serial gadget. using libby
open up libby.
connect ur gadget to ur box.
power up ur box holding up/down buttons on the box.
u should c loads of numbers rolling down in the libby window and on the left side of bottom liby window saying initialised.
then select the right config file
select ur id and press excute

rs232 connects through the scart socket m8


scart to serial adaptor connects to the scart socket then the serial end connects to your pc via a serial cable
