CD & DVD Nero 5 help please.

Can anyone post or pm me an idiots guide to burning a image file to ur harddrive and then to cd for Nero 5.5.7.8. It is for a ps game, but I can't figure out how to create the image file.<br />Any info on settings for doing ps games with this software would also help (as I haven't used Nero b4).<br />Many thanks. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Roty dont use nero for an image it uses too many cds use drive image pro 5 much simpler and saves an image to your HD

hi m8.<br />if you have got a writer and cd rom in your computer you can go from disk to disk just click on cd copy. or you can use another sofware called disk juggler or cdr win. all this software lets you go from disk to disk.<br />good luck m8

Sorry I thought you wanted to make an image of your HD for backing up Right to nero then open it up choose create data CD (use the wizard to do this) then choose create an image It will ask you were you want to save it (say for example C:\Temp) then click burn The image will be saved to your HD when you want to then burn to cd open the wizard again choose data cd and burn from image It will ask for a location just point it to were you saved the original and then click OK Thats it M8 simple

Run Nero. Choose CD Copy. Under Copy Options, untick On the fly. Under Image, this is where your image will reside, usually C:\. If you want to keep this image then untick 'Delete image file after cd copy'. Under Burn select your speed for writing. Place blank disk in writer. Click on Copy. This will now copy an image of your CD to driveC:\ and then from drive C:\ to your new disk. If you unticked 'Delete image file after CD copy' then your image will remain on your drive C for later use. You can access this from main menu under Burn Image.

Many thanks, what it is, my cdrom is knackered, so I am reading it from my cd writer. I have tried easy cd creator5 but that keeps saying "error the cd is not blank", even though they are brand new blanks, clone cd creates the image but never produces a working game, so now I am trying nero.<br />Many thanks again. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
