if its out off date it will say "channel not available", if its up to date but not clearing you will be looking at a blank screen without that message, now feck off an go to bed an gee me peace till the morra lol

yip im sure it works, have had it running on my tm5402hd with no problems, wot would i have to do to get it to connect??

Might be a silly but you don't have the tm5402 runnign at the same time? You can't use the same line in two boxes at the same time.
