i just built myself a new pc i took the cpu optical drive and hdd from my pc which was only a year old lol. i added a new mobo ram gfx cpu cooler case psu pwm fan controller. i am quite pleased with the results.
build is as follows
antec 900 gaming case
abit ip35-e mobo
pentium d 920 2.8ghz o/c to 4ghz.
ati hd 2600 xt gfx
2gb geil black dragon pc6400 800mhz ram o/c to 850mhz
250gb seagate barracuda 7200rpm 8mb cache
ocz stealth xstream 600w psu
sony dvd rw drive
termal take big typhoon cooler fan upgraded to an iflash with thermal readout.
added iflash to side window too.

no the sata cable just goes underneath the bottom of the drive bays have redone the cables 3 times lol just wasnt pleased with them and they restricted airflow. i got another 5.c of pwm and cpu temps since my final cable tidy.

my cpu idles at 35.c now with a 4hz oc and at load its 55.c which is since i upgraded the big typhoons fan. system temp is 20.c and pwm is 40.c

well its rated at 26db it is noisier than the case fans but i was willing to sacrifice some quietness for cooling as ive extremely overclocked my cpu. i did buy a fan controller to turn it down during web browsing and so on but if it goes too slow the lights dont work on it :(.
