also got a message back from 1and1 which sounds a little strange. Basically they are saying they only register domains for 1 years at a time.

Very strange as they charge me every 2 years.

Just realsied that namesco also charge for domain privacy as then I guess 1and1 will also, Think I am goign to go back to go daddy lol

I begining to think a .co.uk is better now

1and1 seem to be muppets or maybe they have outsourced all their departments.

I sent an email asking them

I would like to register my domain for more than 1 year

and the reply I got

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we currently offer only 1 year registration on domains.

I also use 123-reg and have done for the last three co.uk renewals.

No trouble and cheap.
