mtkflash not showing sata drive

hi all
just fitted a sata pci card (via chipset) it has 2 sata and 1 ide
problem is when i boot, i get options 1-4,choose 4 then type in mtkflash r/m ORIG.BIN.
but only shows ide 0/1
no sata drives
also when i connect the sata lead to the 360 the 360 reboots.
