Argon ver 1.7 update OK?

I am running the Argon with version 1.7 and not connected to internet. Does anyone know if this is OK to update from Disc as it is asking to update Wii?

The update is safe, as long as Wiikey is on 1.9g or newer.
Been playing it online wih no problems.

just got the original mario kart (normally download from nzbs) and updated the wii update then when put mario kart in it said need to perform another update to run this software, and this just takes forever, the blue bar moves up a bit and then sticks in the sam epoint for ages it has done this twice now, can anyone help

Obviousl I know, but you have got a PAL version and not NTSC ?
