Hi, I've had a Magellan Roadmate 1200 for a few years without a problem.
Last week, I tried to format an SDHC in it (it was 8gb and my USB reader wouldn't read above 2gb!), unfortunately, I ended up formatting the RAM on the sat nav-arghhhh!
I've been on several sites and done all the recommended software loads and have fitted the original SDHC card in (I copied it before messing with the sat nav) and all I get is the message 'SD card has been removed. Program will restart. Please insert SD Card with map'.
I updated the system via the Magellan site, but still get the same message. Have emailed Magellan twice and got no reply.
I'm not sure if the uploads I did to help get the system working was for the US only, also I'm not sure if the map copy I have is compatible with the update.
In theory, Magellan's update and my original SC card should work?!?
Tried installing Tomtom on it too-but couldn't get it working.
Any help would be appreciated.
