Found a little tweak, if you have a low signal to noise ratio or margin on your router.
As you may know I have been having major problems with my DSL connection since I had the LLU conversion for MAXDsl.
I have had no connection for 11 days.
Well I managed to fix it locally in my house.
I opened up my master socket, mine is the type that has the test socket inside.
The thing I done was to remove the ring wire, normally ORANGE, but mine was green.
That took my noise margin from 6 to 18, and that included a double speed increase. Normally each step may take 6dB of your SNR. but I have added![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
now I am dancing!!
remove the ring wire and see what happens,
Your phones will still ring as your dsl filters convert the 2 wire back to 3 over a cap![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
have fun
