Losing Focus on current window

I'm having a strange problem, that hopefully someone might be able to assist me with.

When i'm using Internet Explorer or MSN Messenger, the system will lose focus on the current active windows. Do not need to be typing or moving mouse either for it happen

Can be a real pain, as your typing, look at screen and find it's shifted focus to something else, but not another window.


I've run a virus scan using Sophos, Panda Online Active Scan, and Kaspersky. All show my system as clean

Ran AVG Antispyware, again comes up clean.

I'm running XP SP2 with IE7

Anyone got a suggestion as how to fix this problem. It's occured at least 10 times, in just typing this message.

What ever is happening, is occuring every minute.

Have clicked on internet explorer, waited for it to lose focus, clicked back on the window and timed it.

Exactly 1 minute.

So does anyone know how i can see what processes are running at that moment.
