Hi guys, first time in this forum looking for some advice. While watching live Santana footy the lines on the pitch always appear to be flashing. I have a panasonic 37" plasma, viera, 10,000:1 contrast, HD ready tv and was really expecting more. I'm thinking about changing and was wondering if I would get a better picture with a 100hz, 15,000:1 contrast or a 1080P, 10,000:1 contrast.

Any advice would be appreciated

Cheers

I haven't seen much Setanta, but in the few matches I have seen, the picture quality has been diabolical. Your set might be perfectly OK.

Thx nara, I know its called setanta just trying to do a des lynam.
What would you think the best spec out of the two I mentioned?

Cheers

I have exactly the same problem watching the live football on Setanta.
anyone know why the quality so bad and if there is anything that can be done to improve it?

Sorry, I can't help you on that one.

It's the quality of the transmission. Only Setanta can improve it.

a man i know who works with the BBC states Setanta use the cheapest possible encoding or something, and thats why the pic is rotten, its nothing to do with your TV, its their signals
