i can't have it thorugh the onboard sata mate, simply can't only via a sata card (an old one like a via 6421A)

i can pull out a 2 gig SATA HDD that i have attached, maybe a bottle neck in the RAID card.....
So should i be burning at 2.4 x with cpc off or 4.0 with cpc on with these verbs then?
