Both Npower and British Gas have given the City Council Low Energy Light Bulbs to give out to priority groups, over 17,000 have been donated in the last three years. These bulbs have been given out by Local Solutions as part of their insulation contract and by Council staff at various events and road shows. The council also purchase, at a low price price, low energy light bulbs for distribution to non priority groups.
