I did not even need to visit any external websites, as you can see google provides me the entire illegal key in the first link.

but google isnt advising you about anything - thats like saying the forum here gives you material that could be illegal.

Putting it simply, it doesnt - its the information on it that could be illegal, not the site itself. The same thing applies to Google.

Anyone who has something illegal in their home, or does anything illegal, should always be concerned & accept the risk that they could end up in jail for their actions. Whats new there? This is the same with music & movie copyright piracy too, I'm sure admin understand how crime & justice works .

Forum discussion boards will never be ended, but hosting of illegal files may be an issue. 'Illegal file' hosting and legit forums dont mix well, but I am sure the forum owner has no problem removing any files that are reported or found to be illegal (if we have any). Traders and those earning from illegal activity are also not welcome here and permanent bans are actively issued.

There are many hundreds of people that use this forum as its intended, and therefore many are not doing anything illegal per se. Modshack, H and NA were found to be commiting crime and intentionally making profit from it, I dont believe the articles tell the full case. Personally I dont like their outcome & sentance, but i'm sure they would both agree- "if you cant do the time then dont do the crime".

Thats a very well put post mate, its a shame we lost the cable section for now although as MD says might not come back Be a shame as I dont think there are many if any posts that could be deemed as illegal

I do agree with admin having to check it out as I would be worried if I were admin and would likly do the same thing.

Im in no way a trader, I have earned not a penny from helping family out. Nor would I want to, the work was not mine to begin with so therefore why should someone else be charged for plagarised work if you like...



But I agree there are traders in the shadows that leech off here, you can tell who they are generally coz when theres a hit they have been members for years with very few posts all in cable areas

with the big hit that recently happened this forum started to get packed, there must be a majority of people that just come here either for the cable section only or when theres a big hit.

Removing it is a good idea and who knows if it will come back but there are loads of other forums that have decided to keep the cable section on.

i hope your site keeps busy with threads but i bet if you look at statistics on post you will see a big reduction.

I use general chat, pc section but ill admit i was using cable the most.

I dont like seeing anyone banged up for cable/satellite related stuff it just means more less space for the drugged up burgulars!!

There are so called traders on all forums they just know its not the thing to openly tell people what their intent is, all the traders i have seen down the pub or fairs etc don't look the they know how to turn a computer on so the chances of these people writing a hex for a card is remote.

I think classing some who might take a fiver for updating a box once in a blue moon for their aunt as a traders is a broad swipe at best.

Lets be honest we do this for a hobby but some are always gonna want to make a couple of quid. I must admit it pisses me off when a bloke comes in the pub thinking he invented the hack and shifts a few boxes.

i think this is scare tactics to have a bigger impact to the whole community, banging up the owner of the forum and the guy who wrote a guide what message does it send out. If you run a forum your at risk and if you pass knowledge about you at risk.

of course there are loads of traders on here. otherwise where would they get their knowledge? i am a trader, although not cable stuff. wouldnt be able to do anything to do with cable to save my life lol. i have a stall at a computer market stall and employ my brother to sell laptops and hard drives.

at the end of the day you can be a trader but its the priciple. i would never earn money off the people of digitalworldz or even the knowledge gained as its just plain wong and heartless. the people here go over and beyond.
