Laptop Ram

Im looking to upgrade the ram in my daughters laptop
found some ram on play(2gig) but there are 2 for the same price
1 is 667mhz
the other is 800mhz
will the 800mhz (memory speed) work on this spec laptop

Intel Celeron-M 370 Processor 1.5GHz
512MB DDR SDRAM
80GB Hard Drive
Intel GMA 900 128MB shared graphics

Acer Aspire 3613WLMi

If ever I want to upgrade the RAM in a pc/laptop I go to Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com I downoad their scanner and it then tells me exactly what RAM that I need and also the cost and maximum amount that the machine will take. I find it a very useful resource tool.

You run this on the machine that you want to know about

The DDR 667 would be fine if it is the correct spec.

Sorry I missed this first time around, but for anyone else following the thread memory is backward compatible and will slow itself to the speed the board allows, and indeed the speed of the slowest memory installed if you have different types.
