Lab Grown Steak

The side of that thing looks a strange colour. They aim to come in at the same cost as real meat products.....hmmm, I know which I would choose.
 
If it tastes ok and it is cheaper than the real thing then I don't mind how it looks as I sometimes sous vide my steaks and if it is only for me and not guests I don't always finish them off by searing them in the frying pan.

I am sure they will be much better than any of the so called "meat" subsitute veggie burgers.
 
Does anyone know how long it took to grow/made I didn't see it in the link unless I missed it. Is it even feasible. For all we know that cost a fortune to grow/made.
 
But it's like everything else, if there's a market and money to be made manufacturing times and cost will plummet
