kryptview arnet Straight from the box???

Do the Kryptview work straight from the box?
I went through the installation menu done a scan but only get 2x virgin channels and flimflex preview, the channels go from 2001-35 most are DL1,DL2,DL3 etc and i get a popup saying Scrammbled/no video
I read you turn off then on after a scan but no joy

Hello Mate
Sounds like you need to flash the software on to it have you tried flashing it with the latest firmware using your pc and a serial cable ?

All sorted now
The most upto date software was pre-loaded
Read a post on the setup via Google search.Still a bit unclear but got there in the end.
Next thing learn how to cross the road on my own
