H5.2TC - Out of the Box Set-up Assistance

Hello,

Ordered and received a H5.2TC from an Amazon seller 'ShiningDVB'.

I've asked for assistance, but haven't got far since Monday.

I've hooked up the cable feed to the adapter and then to the box, and tried scanning, but get no channels (in the Luton area).

This is where I'm stuck, I'm sure I need to configure something, but do not know what.

This is straight out of the box image.

For now I want to use Freesat and VM free stuff, til I'm ready to try an N line.

No, only backed up the image and found the NetID and changed it to 00005 and then performed a scan with 0 channels returned.

So hows the tuner setup ?

You should choose to scan provider and to make life simple brute force Vrigin then scan.

You have connected the incoming feed to the correct port haven't you ?

I uploaded a vanilla image for said box, flash that image and you are good to go - obviously set your cable area up
