Just flashed Hitachi but only reading some backups ?

Hi All

Just flashed a Hitachi/LG drive with ixtreme 1.51.

Tried following -

Red dead redemption, COD BO, Pro Evo11, Just cause 2 and none work ? It tries reading disc but nothing shows.

I then tried 50 Cent BOTS and it boots fine.

Is this a dashboard/f/w prob as 50cent is an older game ??

Any ideas peeps ??

Dash is - 2.0.8955.0

new firmware is coming out in like a week.

Updated to new dash with NFS HP. So have the new connect dash and game works fine as expected (rev 46/47 do not have ap25 check)

All the games mentioned above still do not work though ?

I tried them in my sammy ix1.61 with old dash and they are fine ?

Confused ??

I have always found hitachis hit and miss tbh. I couldn't get some games to work on 1.51 that should work. So its no suprise that your having problems mate. I would however suggest waiting for the latest LT+ for the hitachi drives.

When is it due mate ? Burned a load for crimbo and most do not work...lol

Maybe try a tweak on the laser? or at least clean it, see if reading improves

btw i don't think lt+ is coming for Hitachi 47 drives

It coming for all 'fat' hitachis, including non retail.

What is a fat or slim Hitachi guys ?

I doubt its the laser as some games work fine ? Same media,same burn speed etc.

Do you think new f/w will solve my problem ?

Slim are the newer consoles available.

Yes new fw should sort your problem.
