I just had a play with the BB tablet
the browsing and opening of stuff was fast I didnt get to play as much as Id like (daughter aint well and wanted to get home)
does it have the ability to play audio files via a player? and youtube videos?

tbh apps and that aint majorly important to her, she is studying to be a vet nurse and wants something to make notes on and browse for information etc

i got one for my son from "santa". Its a nice wee thing,fast and plays emulators, so im happy. gba, n64, snes allflying it.

You get quite a lot of hardware for your money but not having google play store is a real pain. sideloading apps is pretty simple but not all apps are compatible, for example Temple Run. Apparently there is an Android SDK which if used can't be converted to playbook.

Aside from that there is a O/S update due at some point but not sure what functionality it will bring / lose
