jtag a 4010 and sammy the same? help please

Hi, im going to give some help to family members and need to know if the same jtag will do the 4010 and sammy? If so what one theres all differnt ones from what i see. Please help me. Thanks and wheres the best place to get them? cheers

A standard 6 wire jtag will do both boxes m8 (solder version)

If you go for the solderless option you will need the 10 pin for the 4010 / 4000 box and the 20 pin for the sammy so get the combi version to do both boxes?

Try TMC for the jtags

I have done both stbs using the one from TMC (Solder Type £10 + P & P) and not let me down so far?

I used my old pc running win 98 with no probs.
