NOTE: THIS ONLY WORKS ON 8GIG IPT3G MODELS!!!!
I decided to make this thread for all the noobs out there who just got a new 8 gig IPT after Apple stopped signing 3.1.3 and want to JB.
And yes you dont need a SHSH saved.
Get this firmware: IPT2G 3.1.2 Official
then open itunes on your computer without your itouch connected (via usb).
Plug your usb cable into your computer. (still without the itouch connected)
turn off your itouch, now while pressing and holding the home button, connect your itouch to the computer. keep holding till you see the recovery logo appear on the screen(itouch) and you'll see an itunes message about recovery mode.(computer)
shift + restore and select that itouch 2g 3.1.2 that you downloaded.
Done
You now have successfully downgraded to 3.1.2.

Also Note: For some reason an error occurs when you try to downgrade to 3.1.3.
If you want 3.1.3, downgrade to 3.1.2 and use a firmware spoofer.
