I was Ireland a few weeks ago. Sitting about late at night I thought I'd see if there was anything worth watching on all the Player sites.

What's the bloody point of them, every one of them said not allowed to view outside the UK.

Bloody useless.

I had this problem working offshore as company i work. Fors servers are outside uk.i added little app 69 p for 4 weeks called vpn phone .
I allows my phone and ipad to get all bbc ,itv and sky program's no problem.
I also used in turkey on holiday .
It's regulations that don't allow you to view outside uk

It is all to do with international licensing which sucks. However if you outside of the uk and wish to use iplayer then best way is is to use a VPN service where you can tunnel your traffic back to uk and you are able to view services like iplayer/tvcatchup etc.

There are some free ones available but the paid ones offer better service. Just google search for free vpn.

Expat Shield is the one I use. You have to download and install it. It's free and works perfectly, though only on Windows I think.

Thanks I'll check these sites out. Not that I'm going away anytime soon

Hola Unblocker browser add-on, works great.
I use it from Germany, also allows you to change Netflix regions.
