iPhone iPhone 4s update from 5.0.1 to 6.1.2 problems

Hi I want update my iPhone 4s which is on 5.0.1 to 6.1.2 but keeps giving me error 3194 , I put the iPhone in DFU mode and press shift in iTunes to select my firmware. is there anyway of doing it any help appreciated thanks. Also my Host file is clean as I just reinstalled my computer and fresh install of iTunes 11.1.3.8.

there is no way to update or downgrade A5 devices to a desired firmware, even if you have the SHSH blobs saved.
you will have to update to IOS 7.0.4
