iPad iPad/iPhone spacebar flaw.

I've googled this, but it seems I'm the only one it bothers. On a pc, you hold down spacebar, and the character space, gets repeated for as long as you hold down the spacebar. Is there an app, or tweak in Cydia or otherwise, that will enable me to replicate this?

Not seen anything but a possible workaround might be you get as many spaces as you touch fingers on the spacebar...
