iPad ipad 4 icloud lock

I have a ipad 4 that i got of ebay it is a wifi and 4g ipad
it has a Icloud lock on it can this be taken of as I did this on a old iPhone 4 so it can be used as a ipod no phone service.
I have seen a piece of software called duolci is this a fake piece of software

You would be better off compleatly resetting the iPad as once an email is entered it can not be removed..
Open iTunes on computer with iPad off while holding down home button connect to computer and it should reflash/reinstall latest iOS..as far as I know this is the only way to do things safely..maybe others may have better ways..

Resetting doesn't remove iCloud lock - or activation lock as its known. The ONLY way is to get whoevers iTunes account it's locked with to remove it.

Wiping in DFU mode doesn't get around it, once u come to activate it via APNS it will ask for that account again.

Send it back asap
