Praise be! The upgrade cured the odd keyboard behaviour whereby the keyboard disappeared after typing the first character.

On another system the update cured the incorrect operation of the 'off/sleep' button.

At last!

I'm having a lot of problems with 8.1 with VoiceOver, apps dont work as they should, most of the times the OS freezes,
