i've got a problem with internet explorer. some sites dont work correctly for example:

http://maps.google.co.uk/

when you search for a local company and click on a pointer nothing happens. on other pc's, a pop-up box is displayed.

i've reinstalled java, but nothing has changed?

any ideas welcome?

thanks

Mag

or try an internet explorer repair - re-install or service pack update.

thanks guys, firefox worked. internet explorer is faulty.

You said that you had re-installed java , I had this type of problem earlier in the week .

On the page in question hold down ctrl and click the refresh button on the browser , this will overwrite any cookies/cache page for that site and all should then work .

is it up to the latest servicepack? did you try a repair or try resetting ie defaults?

i've tried resetting the defaults and a repair with no joy. i'm also running sp2.
i'm going to try a reinstall tomorrow and i'll let you know the out come.
