please can somone help i need advise from what prog i need to writing to the cards and how to update(has in do i have to take the card out every month to prog or can i just put the codes in by remote)i know you gone through this before but i need a idiot`s guide <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

qwerty m8, u ain`t told us what type ur using. a goldie with somin like kevlar prog on it (Remote Update), or ur orignal card thats modified (MOSC, Auto Update)

qwerty the MOSC is best from an ECM point of view but you're not able to watch PPV channels on it, unless you start messing around with the event ID's and I wouldnt recommend you start doing that just yet.

Under normal circumstances an AU card is best but with the current climate of ECM's we're having to reprogram cards 2-3 times a month anyway.

I would recommend to start with you make a MOSC for watching the normal channels and have a goldie with Kevlar 1.67 on it for watching PPV channels.

MOSC's are made by modifying the PBM using MKFind and goldies are programmed using the MP6 software you get free with your Elvis.
