iPhone I Message

My iphone 5 seems to have stopped sending I-messages out to other iphones . I checked under settings and I-Message feature is on. switched it off and on again but still doesnt work. Can anyone help please. Thanks

Are you on the latest iOS7? (7.0.4)

There was issues when iOS7 first came out and I know people who are not yet onto 7.0.4 are still struggling.
If you are on GiffGaff (as I am) then you will need to follow the settings as posted by sharpe1983 - I love GiffGaff for the cost, I hate GiffGaff for the occasional settings going missing and having to reset..

Once you do (if required) upgrade to 7.0.4 then turn off iMessage and back on again to ensure it is clean.
