yeah agree, but so is 11, it's on my FTP if you want it.... (Only fire it up if required, the FTP that is) let me know....but I assume you know where you can grab it from, brilliant piece of software it is......and of course if you like it you should all ways buy it....

I have tried that type of solution but it stopped working after the 30 day trial period. It was as though it had not patched it at all even though I saw it overwriting the files when patching.

Have you checked after more than 30 days have passed if it is still working? I am always suspicious of installing them patch files, you just dont know what gubbins are lurking inside them?

In the end I opted for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 which is a lot easier to activate and requires no patching with unknown files, however, I prefer Sony Vegas as it is more user friendly.

I think that when I tried this before I uninstalled a 30 day trial version then reinstalled Vegas and patched it. There might have been something remaining in the registry or somewhere from the trial version that then marked my reinstallation as a trial. I might give a clean install a go to see if it is OK.

no worries, never had a problem with it - installing it and the like, that goes for both versions, 10 and 11, you have to kind of bite the bullet a little and disable your antivirus and the like for the keygen as that can block it.

any way, let me know if you want it and i'll uplaod it or maybe stick my FTP back on.

If the 64bit version of Vegas 11 is available with a patch/crack then I would definitely like to give that a try?

Whenever I have searched youtube it always seems to be the 32bit version that is available, if possible I would like to get the 64 bit version activated?

any chance of the ftp details. need to re get this, just had a bastard of a trojan on my pc couldnt shirt it for love nor money so had to reinstall windows today, but the resulting format has lost all mt programs so i need to re-aquire them.

vegas being one of them...

Thanks for the link, I have downloaded the files OK and extracted them from the archive. I have one question if you could please assist?

With the serial number generated by the KeyGen, do I need to edit the first 3 letters of the serial number as used to be the case with Vegas 10. If I recall correctly whatever serial was generated had to have the first 3 letters edition to "1R8...." to account for the application version?

Sorry mate, been so hectic today....no mate, you don't need to do any thing like that, have you had a read of the readme?

it's a universal scony exe patcha thingy.exe so just follow the steps as though you want to register from another computer after choosing which program you want.







Even maybe go as far as disabling your net before you try it.. Then I'd add it to your firewall to stop connecting or updating to scony.

the red square I've just noticed is not showing you vegas but it's there, I think it's because I have red eyes of the amount of graft I'm doing at the minute.

install and then follow..but don't run. (or if it does close it down) do this with your network disconnected.

ÛÛÛÛÛ Run our keygen. (Under Vista/Win7 do it with administrator

ÛÛÛÛÛ Select the product that you would like to register.
ÛÛÛÛÛ Make sure that you are not running any Sony apps!
ÛÛÛÛÛ Press Patch button, and select the application's directory.
ÛÛÛÛÛ
ÛÛÛÛÛ (for example C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0)
ÛÛÛÛÛ Then select the Shared Plugins folder if needed.
ÛÛÛÛÛ Now you can run the app that you are going to register.
ÛÛÛÛÛ Press Generate button for Serial Number and Authentication
ÛÛÛÛÛ Code. (These codes are work in pair!)
ÛÛÛÛÛ After you passed the serial number form, select activation
ÛÛÛÛÛ from Another Computer...
ÛÛÛÛÛ Enjoy.
