dont know exactley, but i think you need a certain model dvd rom drive with modified firmware, just like the xbox 360 has too...

You are only allowed by law to make a 'Back-up' of a game that you leagally own and any help given in circumventing the protection would contravene copyright law and land the site in trouble.
Now if you were to own a game and you wanted to back it up then you would need a certain reader
A LG 8164/8163 would be optimum.....and then you would require a program called Rawdump 2.0.
Check the post below for a bit more info on the readers needed...a few more options listed there.

But basically you NEED a very specific model of LG DVD-ROM (which you can still buy new) to read the game and then follow the guide, but it takes about 2-3 hours to rip one game
