Linux how can i put win7 back over ubunto

hi all, i have a toshiba netbook which my friend convinced me to put
ubunto on it instead. i have tried several times to put win 7 back
on it with no avail. it gives me several faults like no hard disc detected,
cant load operating system.
other than a new hdd im stuck.
any help on getting back to win7 would be appreciated

did u delete the ubuntu partition or just install it along side it, dual boot method?

Run Windows 7 setup, at the point where u select what hard disk to install it to, Select 'Advanced' along the bottom, delete ALL the partitions so you're just left with the whole drive unpartitioned then select that to install it to (NO need to format it, Windows setup will do it)
