......you just never know what is around the corner!!!
Just found out today that my old mate of 30 years nearly died last week.
He is a very fit 30 year old, 6 feet tall, had trials with a few footy teams upon leaving school, still plays weekend footy and 5-a-side etc.
Anyway he collapsed last week and was rushed into hospital, after tests they revealed that his kidneys have failed, he does not drink a lot, just your average guy, does not touch drugs or anything so this really came as a shock.
After more tests they found out that he only had one kidney..born with one kidney....wtf? Holy mother, he was an extremely fit and popular lad, this has come as shock to everyone.
His father Michael has come to his rescue and donated one if his kidney to the poor lad.
Get well soon Daz, your a top bloke, this town needs more people like you, you deserve to live a strong healthy life so here is to the future mate, be strong and get well.
And to everyone else out there, do not put off till tomorrow if you really can do it today!!!
