I am currently trying to configure a server to run several cards for me and a few friends who have all purchased a card each but I am running into problems configuring the server. I have been doing this for a few weeks now and seem to be getting nowhere fast. I have a Linux based PC running Clark Connect with 1 serial pheonix interface and 4 Infinity USB Smart readers. The cards that I am using are a Sky Italia NDS3 card, a ITV Partner Cryptoworks card, a German Premiere card in Betacrypt, a Digitalb Conax card and a Viaccess card. Now the Viaccess and Conax card are running perfeclty well. The Premiere card is working but when the server is sending keys the picture freezes briefly and then its working again for several minutes before this happens again. The Sky Italia and Cryptoworks card do not want to seem to work no matter what I try. I am using NewCS 1.67 which reads all the cards.
If somebody can look through my .XML file and tell me where I am going wrong it would be appreciated.

I also have the output file for the Premiere card located here for download if anyone would like to have a look at it.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Liam

what version of cccam are you using? i know the latest version can read the italia card direct. Is there any reason your not using cccam all them cards can be read.

Si

@SiKinn I am using NewCS1.67 on the server and some of the boxes (M-Vision 9085) which are connecting to the server can only use radegast or newcamd 5.25. If I use CCcam on the server instead of NewCS will this work with all the boxes. If so I can ditch NewCS because its seems difficult to configure certain cards and solely run CCcam instead.

Thanks for replying

Liam

Right mate i see what you mean now mate.

cccam will not let them emus connect to it, but cccam can connect to pretty much anything. Which doesnt help you out in this situation.

My mate used to run the italia card through newcs so i will ask him for the config he used. Are the readers all working, i mean have you tried a known working card in the phoenix on S0 just to rule out the reader being an issue?

Si

Try the above in the device tags, also is you card activated?

Si

Forgot to add i would block the sa,ua etc so set them to 'yes' until you get the card working.

Si

Thanks for the Si, will try that shortly and let you know if it works. The card initialises in the reader and lets me know that it's a Sky Italia card it just isn't sending keys.

Thanks again

Liam
