help with dreambox

I have a friend who has a dreambox or something like it but the only problem is he constantly needs to get the codes unlocked or something but i have heard there may be a box which updates itself automatically, would this be true as it would save him £10 every other week. Any help appreciated as my knowledge on this subject isn't very good

also find out what satellites he picks up, or if he is motorised, then we can say more.
It seems very wierd that anyone with a satellite dreambox would pay money to someone regular to keep it updated. All satellite users are sensible i bet it turns out to be a cable box user lol.

i can get the firmware but need to know what is the provider you want and what box you using .
